Annual Seminar of the Institute of Sikh Studies October 2009
The Institute of Sikh Studies holds a seminar every year on a special topic of interest to the panth .This time the theme is ‘Sikhs Living in other States outside Punjab’.
There are many aspects, which could be covered: The historical background of the Sikhs in the State, their present life holding Sikh heritage intact, their aspirations as a minority, concerns and problems being so, Gurdwaras & other institutions held by them, their interaction with local residents, cultural adjustments etc.
You may chose any or all aspects of their life in your paper and give indication as to what you will cover. Also, if you know any other scholar in this field please let us know his address, email, phone etc so that we may send a request direct to him also. You may communicate to the Institute of Sikh Studies Chandigarh or write to me directly.
We need your support and encouragement in the service of the Panth.
With kind Regards
Yours sincerely,
