In remembrance of Dr Kharak Singh

The Institute of Sikh Studies, Chandigarh is organizing an event on December 5, 2009 (Saturday) in the memory of Dr Kharak Singh ji, a founding member and leading light of the IOSS. The event will be held in the Diwan hall of the Gurudwara Sahib, Kanthala, Industrial Area Part II, Chandigarh from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. Prof. Jagir Singh ji (who has only recently joined the IOSS) would be reciting Shabad Kirtan. Dr. Gurbakhsh Singh ji, who has virtually had a life-long association with Dr Kharak Singh ji would be talking about the life of the great personality and his experiences with him. Light refreshments would be served.
